Parent Teacher Association

The PTA comprises of parents and teachers at Lindfield Primary Academy.

Our main aim is to help enhance the children's experience at the Academy by raising funds for equipment, the school environment, and other extras (which the Academy may not be able to fund within the school budget) to make Lindfield Primary the best it can be for our children and for future generations.

Our secondary aim is to create and support a real community feeling for parents, teachers, and the children. We aim to make our events as inclusive as possible so that they attract attention from the wider community as a whole and not just from within the school. Our events range from specific fund raisers, events for parents, events for the children and fun family events like our Christmas Fair.

Every parent and carer becomes part of the PTA community when your child starts at the school. The role you chose to play is entirely up to you, from attending a social event, to helping at a Christmas event, to leading or creating a new event. We welcome all support and ideas, and if you do decide to take a more active role you might like to become a committee member. This role allows you to vote on how the PTA raises funds and more importantly where the money we raise is spent.

We hold two PTA Committee meetings per term. The next committee meeting date will be posted on Facebook and sent via ParentMail.  They are usually held at 8pm on Tuesdays at the school. It is always nice to see new faces so please feel free to come along and join us, everyone is welcome.
