Lindfield Primary Academy is a happy and friendly academy focused on learning in a fun and engaging environment for our 4-11 year old learners.
Our children are polite, respectful, enthusiastic and proud. We pride ourselves on our well resourced academy with high expectations, skilled teaching and a dedicated staff. Our ethos is to treat each child as an individual, to access appropriate support and challenge, wherever their talents lie.
Our wide and varied range of opportunities start within the school day and extend far beyond it to allow children to develop a thirst for new experiences. Frequent first-hand experiences and visitors feed our children’s imaginations and build their experience of the world around them.

Our Teaching and Learning
Our creative curriculum helps children discover the world in their own way.
We pride ourselves on the broad, balanced education we provide. Our curriculum is ambitious, creative, and rich in knowledge. At our academy, learners are encouraged to reflect on what they have learnt and on how their knowledge and skills can be applied to different subjects and real situations.
As discovery of the world around us is key to the education we provide, children study a range of exciting topics, which encourage an enquiry-based approach. Our leaners are offered relevant and enjoyable experiences which can extend and nurture their curiosity about the world in which they live.
Our Wraparound Care
Our beloved before and after school programmes are run onsite at our academy by the wonderful team at Pioneer Childcare.
Breakfast Club runs from 7am, until our school day begins, and includes a breakfast and provision of a packed lunch. Our awesome afterschool programme offers exciting activities until 6.30pm, and includes a nutritious, balanced dinner.
