Scooting their way to good health.

The children have been working hard to travel to school in sustainable ways and have learnt about the health benefits of walking, scooting or cycling to school, both for themselves and the environment. In recognition of our great efforts, we were entered into a prize draw by WSCC Safer Routes to School, and have won a 'Scooter Pod'. This will provide the children with a safe place to store their scooter while they are at school. The Scooter Pod was presented by the West Sussex County Council Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport, John O'Brien, who also praised the children for their tremendous efforts. The Scooter Pod will be installed by the Bike Shelter in the KS1 playground shortly.
