Our children complete 2 hours of PE/Sport every week. This consists of dance, gymnastics, games and athletics. We also go swimming in Year 3.

These activities promote control, skilfulness, physical development and knowledge of the body in action. They also provide opportunities for our pupils to be creative, competitive and to face up to different challenges as individuals and as a member of a team.

At Lindfield we are proud of our intra and inter school competitions. We work in our house teams in mini events throughout the year, which culminates in our School Games day in the summer term. Children are also given the opportunity to compete against other schools in dozens of matches and competitions throughout every year.

Sports Clubs

At Lindfield Primary Academy, we offer a wide range of sports clubs before, during and after school. Not only do sports clubs increase our physical fitness, but they also increase our social skills, team working skills and self esteem!

Here are some of the clubs that take place at our school:

Sports Leaders

Year 6 Sports Leaders
Some of our Year 6 children have taken on the role of being a Sports Leader. The children have been busy setting up lunch time competitions for children to take part in each week. They will also be receiving coaching from Mid Sussex Active.
