Our children participate in competitive matches and tournaments with other schools in indoor and outdoor athletics, football, cricket, netball, chess, cross country, handball, basketball, gymnastics, hockey, tennis, cycling, new age kurling, boccia and mathematics. Our year 6 children also get the opportunity to take part in WSCCs cycling proficiency scheme.

There are opportunities to take part in WSCC organised music lessons, which include instruments such as violin, brass and keyboard.

We further enrich our children’s learning through the use of specialist artefacts, visiting speakers, presentations, music, drama and educational visits. Visits range from local trips such as to Oathall Farm, Wakehurst Place, All Saints' Church and our village High Street to the Sealife Centre Brighton, Weald and Downland Museum, Hever Castle and Globe Theatre.

Our Year 5 children attend a 2 day outdoor and adventurous activity residential at Bowles Activity Centre during the Autumn term and our Year 6s take part in a 5 day residential to the Isle of Wight in the summer term.
